Julia Norah is an American musician, singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, who blends indie pop and heartfelt lyrics with jazz chord influences.
Originally from southwestern Pennsylvania, she began writing songs at a young age and later studied guitar and music production at Berklee College of Music. She continued to teach herself recording and mixing, inspired by the growing wave of bedroom pop artists. Her music explores themes of love, heartbreak, loneliness, and self-acceptance, carried by a natural sense for melody and a soft, expressive vocal style.
Inspired by classic songwriting and shaped by modern production, her songs come to life in both intimate solo sets and dynamic full band performances.
Julia has played multitude of shows across the US and is involved in Pittsburgh's emerging songwriter community.
